I can't log in with my email address and password
We have recently upgraded the members’ area. If you registered for the website before February 2007, you will need to register again.
If you registered since February 2007, please use the 'forgotten password' facility on the login page.
Which email address should I use to log in?
Please use your main email address where you receive your emails from APM.
How do I obtain a password?
Once you have registered we will email a randomly selected password to your main email address.
Can I change my password?
Yes, once you have logged in there is an option to change your password.
Who do I contact if I cannot access the members’ area?

What does 'main' address mean?
This is the address that we will use in correspondence with you.
How many postal or email addresses should I have?
To ensure we can stay in touch with you, please keep your addresses (post and email) up-to-date. The addresses you select as 'main' are the ones we will use to correspond with you. It helps to have an alternative address in case your main address does not work.
Can I choose whether or not I receive correspondence by mail or email only?
Yes, you can select to receive correspondence in only one format or both.
What does 'preferred branch' mean?
This is the branch that you choose to be a part of. We will keep you informed about everything that is going on in this branch.
Can I choose to receive information from more than one branch?
Yes, you can select to receive correspondence by email for other branches in addition to your chosen 'preferred branch'.
What is a chapter?
Branches are split by geographical region. Large branches are split into smaller groups called 'chapters'. Currently Midlands, Scotland and Thames Valley branches have chapters.
Why do I need to select a chapter?
Midlands and Thames Valley branches run most of their events through their chapters. Therefore in order to receive information about regional events, you should pick a chapter that is applicable to you.
Can I choose to receive mail about more than one chapter?
You can select to receive correspondence by email only for other chapters, in addition to your main chapter.
What is a specific interest group (SIG)?
SIGs provide a forum where members and their guests can discuss a particular aspect of project management that is of current interest. These groups help further the understanding and practice of project management tools and techniques within the defined area of interest.
How many SIGs can I select?
You can pick as many specific interest groups as you like. Updates from these SIGs will be sent to you by email.
I’m not a student or someone who is in the early stages of their project management career. Can I still receive APM Inspire updates?
Yes, any member can receive updates on APM Inspire although the events offered are targeted at this audience.
I have already informed you of a change of address but the previous address has been shown?
Please allow 5-10 working days for postal / fax / telephone changes to be made.
Your records show my previous home or work address how can I change this?
Log into the members’ area and go to the 'Update Contact Details' page.
