APM open examinations

APM arranges open exams for candidates who wish to self-study. Open exams are available for the Introductory Certificate, APMP, APMP for PRINCE2* Practitioners and Risk Certificate qualifications.

For open examinations between 30th April and November 2014, candidates will be able to choose whether they are examined against the APM Body of Knowledge 5th edtion or 6th edition syllabuses, depending on the materials they have used to study. This applies to the Introductory Certificate and APMP exams (Route 1 and 2) only.

Please be aware that the last open event for which you will be able to book APM Body of Knowledge 5th edition based examination papers will be on 17th November 2014 in Manchester.

How to apply
Register for an Open Examination by completing a qualifications application form and returning it by e-mail (qualifications@apm.org.uk) or by post. Please confirm in writing which examination you require and whether you require an examination paper aligned to the Body of Knowledge 5th edition or 6th edition.

Early booking is recommended as spaces are limited. No bookings can be taken less than 10 working days before the examination.

Payment can be made by cheque (payable to APM) or by credit/debit card. If you wish to pay by card, please include a telephone number so that we can contact you for your payment details.

Candidates applying to sit APMP for PRINCE2® Practitioners examination (APMP route 2) are required to advise their roll number and the date that they took their exam.
