As well as being the Chair of the APM People SIG, Donnie is a member of the APM Policy Unit and previously the Editorial Board. He has contributed to the APM Body of Knowledge 5th Edition and the APM Competence Framework. Donnie is also involved in a number of other internal APM projects where he is sought for his expertise on the people and organisational aspects of deploying and leveraging the business benefits of project management. Donnie chairs the Management Group (which includes Project Management) within the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Management, Procurement and Law Proceedings Panel and is also an active contributor to the RICS Construction Journal as well as the APM's own magazine Project.
Donnie is a Chartered Civil Engineer who swapped the challenge of protecting people from flooding to inspiring people to lead projects working for major contractors and latterly leading consultancies. Over a 23 year career Donnie has led multi-million pound projects and programmes across a range of sectors as client representative, advisor and supplier. Donnie set up Team Animation to gather together like minded professionals to rise to the challenge of inspiring leadership in project and programme management. Passionate about delivering value to business he incorporates the latest people, project and change management thinking. His clients include Watson Wyatt, EPSRC, CSA, Network Rail, BP and NDS. Donnie is also a member of Acumen7, a network of senior executives who address complex business needs.

As a Project Management professional Irene has been an APM member since 1998 and a Fellow since 2007. As well as being on the committee for the APM People SiG, Irene is also an APM Awards judge, a book reviewer for Project Magazine and a newly appointed SIG Steering Group member.
Irene is very active in the promotion of People and Culture in Project Management and as such is a guest lecturer at
Kingston
University to both MBA and Undergraduate delegates and regularly carries out public speaking at conferences, seminars and APM events.
Irene’s experience in project management was born in the Automotive Engineering field where projects included bespoke CAPEX equipment to the OEM’s and Tier 1 suppliers. More recently she has headed up the Project and Programme Delivery Function at Virgin Atlantic Airways where the diversity and complexity of projects encompass design and build, new IT systems, business, logistics & product and service design.

Venue Coordinator Rob Sadler- robertsadler@tfl.gov.uk 07801400478  Rob has been an APM member for 12 years and holds an APMPQ certification. He joined the People SIG two years ago.
Rob’s background is varied but is grounded in mechanical engineering. He currently works for Transport for London where he established from zero the Station Enhancement Programme for all Overground stations, a critical function of which has been protecting the project scope, solutions and costs through his extensive knowledge base of multi-disciplined, technical projects not only within the rail environment but also in bespoke capital projects from feasibility studies to on site operational service.

Troy completed his formal engineering training in the Royal Air Force and then worked on civil airports for 10 years. He joined NATS (National Air Traffic Services) in 2000 as a Systems Engineer then shortly afterwards moved into Project Management.
He currently works in a dual role as a Senior Engineer and Business Performance Manager. He manages two engineering departments and leads business improvement projects mainly involving change management.
He passionately believes that Project and Programme Managers have a duty to lead, inspire, understand and release the potential within the teams that they form to complete their projects.

Sheilina is an experienced change agent and independent project manager with over 25 years across industries including Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, IT and Local Government. She has worked on global consulting tasks and projects in over 46 countries. As a Fellow of the APM she is delighted to be a recent addition to the People SIG committee.
As an international project management speaker specialising in ‘tough skills’ and diversity integration, she has always promoted the notion that project management is people management. It is, therefore, with drive and enthusiasm she joins this experienced team intending to add to the richness of dimensions and perceptions we seek to share.
