APM Risk Management Specific Interest Group
The Risk SIG provides a forum in which to share knowledge and ideas, develop expertise and understanding, foster ‘best practice’ and actively promote the adoption of Project Risk Management. The Risk SIG holds four events per year in January, April, July and October in various locations around the country. In addition we support many local APM Branch events, other APM SIGs and Conferences organized by professional bodies and organizations. The Risk SIG is the only independent organization in the UK specializing in Project Risk Management.
Objectives We sponsor training through APM Risk Certification and produce guidance on risk management through papers and publications such as the Project Risk Analysis and Management (PRAM) Guide. Contact the Risk SIG at: Telephone: 07900 24 80 60

The Risk SIG's mission statement is: 'We aim to provide an environment which enables those involved in project management, from any industry, to develop a full understanding of risk management principles and techniques, and the benefits to be gained from their use. Our aspiration is to be the leader in the field of risk management.'
