Penny Pullan

Penny Pullan

Chairman - APM Women in Project Management SIG

Penny has been certified repeatedly – in project and programme management, facilitation and engineering (but not yet insane!) With a successful track record in project and programme management consultancy, training and facilitation in blue chip multi-nationals over fifteen years, she now runs her own consultancy: Making Projects Work Ltd. www.makingprojectswork.co.uk.

However, what really sets Penny apart is her passion and skill in working with groups to make meetings and projects come alive. Her flair for generating ideas, doing things differently and really getting people on-side is pure gold. She engages groups in large corporate, government and charitable clients to achieve their goals. From starting a piece of work through to its completion, Penny skilfully weaves in pictures and visual metaphors. People involved not only understand what’s going on they really see what they mean!

Who is Penny’s female role model?  She would have to say that there have been a whole host of people, both male and female, who have inspired her, particularly those who really built on their strengths and stood out for what they found made projects work – which is what she’s now trying to emulate.
