The quantifiable and measurable improvement resulting from completion of deliverables that is perceived as positive by a stakeholder. It will normally have a tangible value, expressed in monetary terms that will justify the investment.

I think it's about time that the Quality dimension should be evolved into Benefits.

The point of projects is their Benefits, providing progress.

Peter Drucker advised not to confuse motion with progress - deliverables are simply motion or change; progress needs more than that. (Humber Bridge, anyone?).

Let's please stride purposefully out of the Deliverables box and motivate everyone with progress from Benefits!
