On the 1st March 2011, APM launched a new pan-sector standard for project professionals. APM Registered Project Professional (RPP) recognises competent professionals through their ability to be a responsible leader, manage complex projects and use appropriate tools, processes and techniques. For the first time this designation assesses all elements of the APM 5 Dimensions of Professionalism in a single standard thereby enhancing professional status and recognition.

This evening presentation will explain the new standard and its benefits both for individuals and organisations.

In his talk, Neil will discuss in detail what you need to provide when preparing your case and how much depth of evidence you will need to get over those initial hurdles. Neil will give advice and first hand experience of the process while answering any questions.

Neil has a long track record of project management for IT transformational projects within diverse blue chip organisations such as the BBC and AXA. Currently he is with Fujitsu managing remote infrastructure service transitions for their customers both within UK and Ireland and to offshore locations based in Russia and India.
