The APM Risk SIG successfully hosts multiple risk management events each year, bringing together project risk management professionals to discuss and share both theoretical and practical knowledge within the wider project management community. Feedback taken from recent events has highlighted the need to facilitate an event that looks at the fundamentals of risk management which would be more suited to project risk management professionals with an introductory to intermediate background.
Taking on board the requests of our members, the APM Risk SIG will be hosting an interactive, workshop led event. The event will be broken into 4 workshops, each focusing on a key step in the risk management process; Identification, Assessment, Plan Responses and Manage the Process. (All delegates attend all workshops.)

This event will be an excellent opportunity for individuals with little project risk management experience to establish how the risk management framework, as described in the APM PRAM Guide, is successfully implemented into the wider project management discipline. It will also be a useful event for intermediate level risk management practitioners who wish to refresh their project risk lifecycle knowledge. Each delegate will receive a free copy of the PRAM guide (RRP £25) as part of the conference fee.
The interactive workshops will be facilitated by leading project risk management professionals who will be drawing upon their years of experience of ‘what to do’ and, more importantly, ‘what not to do!’.
