If anything’s definite for 2012, it is that projects will need to be delivered quicker, cheaper and more efficiently than ever before. Enabling and supporting our project management teams is key to meeting this challenge.

Digby Ellis-Brecknell, Transition co-ordinator at the Jersey Employment Trust (JET) will talk about his role in managing people projects.

He will share key skills which will help you to understand and leverage your people to achieve your goals and give you an understanding of how to really help your staff achieve their own. During his talk, Digby will reveal the tools, techniques and processes that have seem him successfully relieve the most challenging of change management headaches.

Resistance to change in projects comes from many places, many of them centred around people. During this presentation, you will gain insight into some of the reasons behind this resistance and learn a method for moving forward, reducing resistance and making the changes required for success.

A former Highlands College lecturer, avid runner and ultra-marathon contestant, Digby will bring his unique flair to this event.

The event will also provide attendees with the opportunity to network with project managers from other professions, helping them to understand ways in which other organisations manage their projects, and giving them an awareness of upcoming programmes on the island.

The event is open to everyone working in change, project, programme management and associated professions. Please book your place by clicking the book now button.
