In February 2011 The Northern Ireland public sector P3O (portfolio, programme, project office) community met in The Mount Conference Centre, Belfast. Around forty people attended this year’s event including Leslie Warren and Michael Browne from the NI Branch Committee.

Around 60 people attended a civic reception at Belfast City Hall on Friday 8th April 2011 to see APM Chief Executive Andrew Bragg present the inaugural APM Registered Project Professional certificates to local APM members John Arbuckle, Paul Cooke and Leslie Warren.

Since the inception of the Northern Ireland branch of the Association for Project Management (APM) and the strong relationship the branch has with Ulster University, each year a Masters student is nominated by the University to receive an award – Best overall student for 2010 in Northern Ireland sponsored by the Association for Project Management.
The Northern Ireland branch of the APM was established in 1990. Over the last 18 years it has become the leading professional body in project and programe management in Northern Ireland. It is supported by a elected committee of members who are passionate about success.
