Fees and How to Apply

Applying for membership of APM is a straightforward process.

  1. Download the appropriate application form and guidance notes
  2. Assemble the relevant information and evidence to support your application as outlined in the guidance notes
  3. Complete the application forms and send with your supporting documentation to Membership Services Department, Association for Project Management, 150 West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe, Bucks. HP12 3AE
  4. If you have any queries, please check the FAQs on applying for membership. If you don’t find the answer there, please call us on 01494 460245 or email info@apm.org.uk
  5. Associate members will receive their welcome packs within 28 days whilst full and fellow member applications are all reviewed by our Membership Panel and may take a little longer. If you have any queries about progress, please contact the membership services department.

Individual membership fees (effective from 1st April 2008)

New applications

For new applications, please include payment of your first year’s subscription and your registration fee with your application.  

Registration fees are waived if your employer is a corporate member.

Administrative fees

To upgrade your membership or to rejoin, a fee of £45 is payable (£15 to rejoin at student level). Upgrade fees are waived if your employer is a corporate member or if you are upgrading to Fellow. If you rejoin and upgrade at the same time, only one fee is payable.

Ways to save time and money

  • Your annual membership subscriptions are tax deductible
  • Check with your employer whether they will pay professional membership subscriptions for you
