Jan Walker

Jan runs her own project management and business consultancy company. She spent more than 20 years in the financial services sector, undertaking a number of roles in both IT and “the business” before taking up a senior project management role within Abbey National.

Jan has worked on a varied portfolio of projects over the last 10 years, including the launch of a motor insurance operation, outsourcing of insurance activities to Norwich Union and Capita, transference of subsidiary businesses within the Abbey National group and the implementation of the FSA’s mortgage and insurance regulations for a regional building society. Her other major focus is helping companies consider, identify and implement appropriate Business Continuity Plans.
