Overview

Specific Interest Groups (SIGs) provide a forum where members and their guests can discuss a particular aspect of project management that is of current interest. These groups help further the understanding and practice of project management tools and techniques within the defined area of interest.

As well as defining their field of interest and the role they intend to fill, SIGs also prepare a programme of activities which endeavour to:

  • share experience
  • identify successes and problems within their chosen field
  • examine existing and emerging tools and techniques
  • hold meetings for members and their guests
  • organise and run an annual seminar.
