Ian FinchIan started his working life as an apprentice for British Telecom in 1981; he specialised in access network planning and during his time with BT, he covered all topics from capacity enhancements in the local loop through to large civil engineering projects within the public highway. He moved into the cable communications industry when it was in its infancy and have remained within it to this day. He moved into management roles during the mid-nineties and then at the end of the decade he got his first taste of project management. He was given a mandate and asked to define the deliverables, secure the funds, build a team and then deliver. After his initial blooding, he moved from his technical knowledge areas into a change role running change projects across the entire company departmental portfolio whilst continuing to grow his knowledge and experience through CPD. In 2007 he set up his own Project Consulting Company to deliver Change and Project expertise. | ||
