Lawrence HillsLawrence has evolved into project and programme management as the discipline has become more significant over the years. As organisations seek to adapt quickly to changing markets and look to collaborate, the need for controlled change and planning has become more relevant. Having worked in geographical modelling, civil engineering and the IT software industry he has a wide range of experience in the different sectors. Lawrence developed and ran a Software Support desk for a Telecom Software Development company that developed into an international organisation in four countries. He then went on to lead the Software Deployment team of project managers, rolling out software and business process reengineering within a variety of sectors. He has worked on a wide range of projects including software delivery, process integration, business change and improvement projects, office relocation and web enablement. In particular he has been responsible for the delivery project management of OSS software solutions for major 2G and 3G mobile network operators. This includes blue-chip organisations such as Orange, 3G and Vodafone delivering large-scale integration projects in the UK and throughout Europe. Many of these projects have involved running projects internationally. Lawrence has a keen interest in Human Rights and is a member of Amnesty International's Active Members Sub-Committee. | ||
