Martin Gillespie

Martin's career has a focus in financial services. In the last nine years, he has been involved in change management in both business and IT areas as a senior project manager and programme manager. Projects have been diverse covering operations (cheque reading) and product development (international cash management).
He founded The Effective Project Zone Ltd in 2008 and is currently assigned as an interim IT Programme Manager for a globally significant bank. Martin is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and is actively involved in the IFS School of Finance (trading name of CIB) London & Home Counties Regional Network committee.
Martin has been actively involved with APM South East branch for seven years with six years on the committee including two as secretary. He was elected as branch chairman in April 2005 and joined the national Branch Steering Group in September 2006.
In November 2006, Martin was elected as a Trustee of APM under the new governance arrangements.
Martin leads a busy life. He is married and has a young family (two sons and a daughter). He enjoys spending time with his family. When time allows, he tries to fit in some gym exercise, DIY projects and genealogical research.
