Simon ChapmanSimon has an IT background and has worked for a number of organisations in Kent. In 1998 he started work at Pfizer and his role led him to become involved in project work. He managed a couple of small software development projects before being made redundant in 2003. This gave Simon the opportunity to progress into project management and he became an IT Project Manager at P&O Ferries in 2004.
He then re-joined Pfizer in their Corporate IT Group, where he worked on IT infrastructure projects and was involved in improving the processes used within Programme Delivery and the PMO. Once again he got made redundant from Pfizer in 2007.
He set up SJC Project Consultancy Ltd and is now working on a $6M project implementing a new IP Telephony system.
Simon's interests outside work include walking and running, and specifically orienteering and 'hashing'. He also is a keen motorcyclist and passed his advanced test in 1988.
