University College London
UCL was founded in 1826 and became the first university to welcome all people – regardless of their class, race, religion or sex – dramatically expanding access to higher education. The university’s teaching, research and community continue to be inspired by this radical tradition.
In 1992 UCL, recognising that there was a need for an academically rigorous and integrated set of management courses to complement existing degrees, established its Management Studies Centre. In 1999 the Centre broadened its scope by offering its first Continuing Professional Development short course to the general public, the APMP qualification.
In August 2007 the Centre was incorporated into the new Department of Management Science and Innovation with the APMP Project Management Course as part of its Executive Education programme.
UCL is also accredited to deliver the APMP for PRINCE2® Practitioner qualification.
