Russel Jamieson
Wessex Branch Chairman
Russel has been a member of the APM since 2002. He joined the Wessex Branch committee in 2005 and was elected chairman of the Wessex branch in June 2006 having previously been responsible for organising the bi-monthly branch events. He is a member of the Branch Steering Group (overseeing all APM branches and their links in to HQ).
Russel currently works with the PIR (Post Implementation Review) Team within BT Design. He has previously worked for Barclays Bank PLC and JPMorgan as well as a couple of other organisations for shorter periods. He has been involved with project and programme management since the mid 1980's and holds APMP, APMPQ and MAPM as well as PRINCE2, MSP and AIM accreditations.
He has been married to Jo since 1978 and has 2 children; one is at Southampton Solent University studying Journalism and Media and the other still at secondary school in Bournemouth.
Russel is a keen cricketer now settling for social games around Dorset and Hampshire on Sunday afternoons, choosing his fixtures on the quality of the teas and not the strength of the opposition! He is also a qualified Football Association coach and manages the (almost mighty) Moordown Athletic in the Bournemouth under 15 Youth Football League.
