This award, the pinnacle of the ceremony, is chosen at the discretion of our Awards Steering Group from the four winners of the Project of the Year categories (Engineering, Construction & Infrastructure; Technology; Transformation; and Social).

Judges recruitment now open

It is essential to APM that the entries for the Project Management Awards are scrutinised and judged by well-respected professionals with the relevant level and type of experience. To ensure the judging panels for each category fit this description, an eligibility policy will be applied to judge applications. Judges’ appointments are for one year.

Why apply?
Judging the APM Project Management Awards is an elite voluntary role that exemplifies your experience throughout the Project Profession. It is a fantastic way to give back to the profession whilst gaining a unique insight into the most recent projects and programmes to have come to fruition.

Your role
Each category has a dedicated panel of up to five judges. It is the role of the judge to allocate time to score each entry submitted under their given category or categories.

Eligibility

To be eligible, judges must meet one or more of the following requirements:

  • Full Membership of APM
  • Fellowship of APM
  • Honorary Fellowship of APM
  • APM Project Management Award winner in 2022 or 2023

Judges are encouraged to apply for more than one category if possible, but will not be disregarded if unable to.
