Susie served for 8 years as a committee member of the APM Women in Project Management Specific Interest Group and held the post of joint co-chair for 2 years.
Susie started her career as a scientist having gained a BSc Science (physiology) from the Polytechnic of Central London (now University of Westminster). She worked first in the National Health Service at the Royal Brompton National Heart and Lung Hospital and subsequently as Deputy Clinical Physiologist at Harefield Hospital. She joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1993 and subsequently progressed to project management. She has over 16 years experience in managing and delivering successfully large complex global programmes with multi-disciplinary teams requiring integration with customers, contractors, academics and patients. She currently oversees delivery of projects across the globe.
