Open to all organisations across the globe with fewer than 250 employees who are committed to excellence in project delivery and the improvement and development of the project management profession. 

We think it’s crucial that whatever their size, structure or industry, organisations should be rewarded for leaving a positive legacy for the project profession and project management practice. 

The contribution to project management: small/medium enterprise category is for project management organisations with fewer than 250 employees operating in any sector to manage and/or deliver projects of any size. Judges are looking for organisations who want to stand out in two ways; firstly, by committing to positive and meaningful progression of the project profession (which may include the development of project professionals and knowledge/best practice sharing) and secondly, by delivering excellence in project management practice (demonstrated by a positive and measurable impact from projects and/or programmes that they have managed and/or delivered).  

We require entrants to all contribution to project management categories to produce a submission of up to 3,000 words detailing how they have met the judging criteria. Entrants may also submit up to four supporting images or graphics only (no text apart from captions). Video and audio is not accepted as part of the submission. 

The contribution to project management categories all consist of two stages, the first stage is the written submission mentioned above and the second stage requires all finalists to present virtually to a panel of judges. They are open to organisations across all sectors globally.

This entry is made on behalf of Advanced Construction Technology (ACT) a small to medium sized Company based in Qatar. The entry describes the rapid maturity development of the organisation based on the development and application of a Risk Based Program/project Control System (RBPCS). This International entry also showcases the RBPCS and the application on a major complex Airport project presently nearing completion. The entry is intended to highlight the challenges of working in a Volatile Uncertain International multicultural environment during a blockade, Pandemic and the logistical challenges of delivering the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
