Whilst at Fluor Daniel Guus picked up a variety of project engineering skills and worked on various projects, both downstream and upstream. A key phase included working for 5 years on the Norg Underground Gas Storage facility for NAM. Just before starting with Shell Guus worked at Tebodin, also an engineering company, where he was accountable for project management and process engineering in the Groningen office. As a last assignment he was project manager for the greenfield Epe Underground Gas Storage project, Lump Sum Turn Key.

Guus started in Shell as a Feasibility and Concept engineer to develop front end engineering skills. Since 2010 he has held the role of ONEgas East Project Manager delivering all brownfield and greenfield projects for NAM offshore and Den Helder.
