Haroona Franklin

Director, Deloitte MCS Limited

Haroona is a director within Deloitte’s Programme Leadership Consulting business with over 15 years’ experience in delivering major infrastructure and technology enabled change programmes. She previously worked in a Central Government as a senior civil servant where she led on a number of GMPP programmes as a programme director and SRO.  Her portfolio has included the Border Systems and the replacement of the NHS Network in the Dept. of Health, as well as the Border at Heathrow Terminal 5.

A key success in her career was overseeing the development and delivery of the new e-passport gates at the UK Border during her time as the strategy and automation director. Haroona has in-depth knowledge of leading transformation and change with the public sector and is experienced in dealing with senior stakeholders and is a strategist who designs programmes that are successfully implemented and incorporated into organisations. She has most recently been working with in the rail sector in Hong Kong working with a client on implementing their portfolio management capability where she has introduced new process including how a digital platform can enhance their reporting and planning.

Haroona was the lead whilst in Government on representing women in project management and since joining Deloitte she has continued to mentor and support women in this field.
