About Oliver

Oliver has a deep passion for the people side of change. With 20 years’ experience in internal communications, culture change, engagement and external communications, he’s been trusted advisor to FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 executives across multiple sectors. He’s led global communications teams, picking up multiple awards along the way, most notably the overall CIPD Winners Award while leading internal communications and engagement at RSA Insurance.

He now runs a successful boutique consultancy called Intelligent Emotion.  He chose the name Intelligent Emotion because he thinks emotion is a largely untapped resource in business and used intelligently, it can unlock creativity, pride and competitive advantage. The company counts Lloyds Bank, Direct Line, M&S, BMI Group, Yorkshire Building Society, MBDA, Swiss Re, Ornua Foods, Virgin Media and Cancer Research amongst its clients.

Oliver has a BA in Modern History from Oxford University and lives with his family and assorted animals in Cambridge.
