Avoiding Conflicts Before They Arise

Great Northern Hotel, Station Approach, Peterborough Cambridgeshire, PE1 1QL

Everyone wants to work in a high-performing team however, we all know that due to the challenges of delivering projects to the desired standards and timescales, sometimes cracks can appear within a team.

Often conflicts arise due to a lack of understanding or consideration of another person’s point of view, how they make decisions, how they communicate or the cohesiveness of the team in how they work together.

In this session, facilitated by Nick Fewings, CEO of Ngagementworks, Nick will share his knowledge and experience of helping organisations to develop high-performing teams and the importance of knowing not only WHO is in your team but also HOW effectively they work together. With this appreciation, you will be better equipped to reduce or avoid conflicts within your team before they arise.

Nick is an ex-project/change Director, a behavioural psychologist and team development expert, who helps teams to achieve even greater success.  He is an award-winning facilitator and conference speaker, with over 20 years’ experience of leading and working with teams in the UK, Europe, the Far East, Middle East and USA.

He is CEO of a training company called Ngagementworks, the creator of the Team DyNAmics© Model of engagement and is an author, publishing articles on personal and team development via his website YoursBehaviourally. Nick has spoken at over 450 conferences and his style has been described as “infotainment”.  In his leisure time, Nick loves travel, is a keen amateur photographer and supporter of Plymouth Argyle.  His claim to fame is that he was the first person born in Plymouth to complete the Edgewalk around the top of the CN Tower in Toronto.
