Directing Change

An APM Governance SIG virtual meet up

APM Governance Guide Review: An opportunity for feedback on the APM guide - Directing Change. How good or bad is it? Is the content still relevant following the recent global events such as covid 19? How can we make it better? How do we reach the right people at the board level?

Are you a project management professional with a focus on governance and looking to engage with similar professionals?

APM Governance SIG committee member Martin will be leading this meet up, giving participants the chance to interact with each other and swap experiences. This conversation will provide an opportunity to socialise virtually and is a great way to network with governance professionals.

There is a limit on the number places available due to the format of the event (virtual) and ideally open to those with a governance focus.

This conversation evening is suitable for professionals with any level of experience.

Martin Samphire is the owner and managing director of 3pmxl Ltd, a consultancy specialises in helping clients to transform their business using structured P3M approaches.  Martin is a APM Governance Specific Interest Group (SIG) committee member and former chair. The APM Governance SIG has developed guidelines for Governance of Project Management, including 'Directing Change', 'Governance of Co-Owned Projects', 'Sponsoring Change' and ‘Directing Agile Change’. He authored chapter 19 on Governance in the 2nd edition of the Gower Programme Management Handbook (2016). He is also a member of a voluntary group, the P3M Data Club looking to improve Business Integrated Governance (BIG).

Previous presentations and webinars can be viewed on the APM Slideshare and YouTube channels.
