How can procurement and project control support each other
The event is a joint event between APM and CIPS. This event is delivered by the Planning, Monitoring and Control SIG. It will introduce project controls for delivery and discuss how procurement and project controls are best used together.
The talk will explore what this means for procurement teams and examine how Project Controls professionals can help during procurement to make sure that the contracts can allow for good controls during delivery.
Lee Mcdonagh has 20 years’ experience in planning and project controls. With 25 Years in the UK Infrastructure Sector from digging trenches under the M25, to some of the largest infrastructure programmes in the UK. A member of the Association for Project Management and part of the Planning Monitoring and Control SIG he will share experience of Project Controls and the relationship with procurement.
