Mental health – we all have it!
Awareness of the issue of mental health has never been more prominent among the public thinking. Yet, 1 in 4 people still suffer with poor mental health at any given time.
This brings with it significant impact on individuals, business and wider society, with a cost to the economy running into the billions of pounds.
Paul Hay will discuss mental health, and the benefits of a pro-active approach from both an individual and business perspective, as well as providing tips on improving resilience.
Paul will cover the following:
- The scale of the problem
- Mental health defined
- Causes of poor mental health
- Building a mentally healthy workplace
Paul Hay works for Lendlease Europe Ltd. (a multinational construction, property and infrastructure company) as their EHS Training Manager, and co-leads their award winning mental health programme. Paul has worked in health and safety for nearly 25 years in both internal and consultancy roles across various industry sectors.
