Recognised Assessment for Charter (ChPP) and APM Academic Accreditation
This session is aimed at university faculty staff and academics of project management degree and master degree courses in UK and outside UK. (Open to APM Members and Non-Members).
In this session, you will find out everything you need to know about recognised assessment for chartered project professional status (ChPP) and APM academic accreditation. You will hear from the Education team at APM as well as faculty head from a leading university who have successfully implemented the programme.
The session aims to give you all the information you need, answer any questions and move forward the collaboration and recognition of university project management courses and the Association for Project Management.
Speaker - Dr. Pete Ito
Since September 2008, Pete Ito has served as a Lecturer and Researcher in Defence Acquisition. He is the Director for the Programme and Project Management MSc course, serves as the Academic Leader on the Capability and Acquisition Training course, runs the Financial Military Capability (Advanced) course, and delivers the International Dimensions of Defence Acquisition course in the Defence Acquisition Management MSc. Pete has undertaken various research projects in the area of defence acquisition. Pete earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley, a Juris Doctor (law) degree and a Masters degree in International Affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a PhD in Defence and Security from Cranfield University. Pete worked for 25 years as a Foreign Service Officer for the U.S. State Department. He joined Cranfield University in September 2007.
