Risk and Data Analytics – Predicting the future?

A seminar discussion on the uses of risk information and data analytics to guide project decision making.

Join Richard Bendall-Jones FAPM as we discuss current trends in using data analytics in risk management, and how we as project practitioners can use this to make vital decisions on projects.

From Reference Class forecasting, to the use of empirical ‘big’ data, there are many sources of information that we can consider when potential project outcomes.

These approaches come with benefits and drawbacks; are we at risk of using data as a panacea for many of our previous problems with forecasting? Or are these approaches a resource efficient way of talking some big questions?

Richard will present some of his thoughts and learnings before facilitating an open discussion with participants on their options and experiences.

The evening discussion will be lead by Richard Bendall-Jones is a risk and value manager at Network Rail, as well as Fellow of the APM and Risk SIG committee member.
This event will provide an opportunity to socialise virtually and share your experiences and insights into new ways of working.

There are a limited number of places available due to the format of the event (virtual) and ideally open to those with risk project experience.

This event is suitable for professionals with any level of experience.

The content is a rerun of an event held in May 2021, due to popular interest.
