Stakeholders and storytelling
In the world of projects, communications can sometimes be an afterthought. But focus on it from the start and it can make a real difference to your success.
Make sure you engage with your stakeholders in truly meaningful relationships, and they will help you achieve your objectives. Create a great story and they will help you achieve your objectives. Create a great story and they can help tell it.
Using her experience from working in infrastructure communications, Sarah Walker will persuade project managers about the importance of getting a great narrative and the power of story-telling.
As a fully chartered member of the CIPR, Sarah is an experienced corporate communications specialist, with many years in the public relations and communications fields. Sarah is currently Head of Communications and Engagement for Highways England’s Complex Infrastructure Programme, which is home to the country’s three largest roads programmes: the A14 in Cambridgeshire, the Lower Thames Crossing, and the A303 Stonehenge scheme.
Sarah has worked as a consultant for many companies, from small start-ups to multi-nationals, providing communications strategy advice and training across a range of specialisms. At the heart of her approach is a desire to build rich relationships with stakeholders to help deliver the best results.
This event is suitable for professionals with any level of experience.
