Associate membership of APM, the Chartered body for the project profession, is for anyone with an interest in project management or who may be new to the profession. It offers you access to an increased range of resources and demonstrates your commitment to developing your professionalism, as well as providing a range of benefits unique to members. You can easily upgrade at a later stage.

To become a Full member of APM, the Chartered body for the project profession, you will have at least 5 years experience as a project management practitioner, teacher or researcher. Your application will need to show practical experience in managing projects or key control functions within a larger project, or teaching and/or researching project management from a practical and professional standpoint.

Are you a full-time registered student studying project management? If so, you qualify to become a student member of APM, the Chartered body of the project profession.

APM Fellowship recognises those who have made a significant contribution to project management as a practitioner, teacher or researcher. Applicants will normally have been members of APM, the Chartered body for the project profession, for at least 5 years or have an equivalent level of experience in a senior position.
Membership entitles you to a range of unique benefits, specifically, Fellows of APM may use the post-nominal FAPM (Fellow of the Association for Project Management).
