On Friday 16th of April 2010 the APM North West Brancharranged their latest successful eventwith a visit to the Bentley car factory in Crewe that was attended by 20 APM members.

Bentley achieved great status in the 1920s by winning the Le Mans 24 hours race five times over over an eight year period. Bentley is now part of volkswagen and is benefiting from a 500 million investment programme.

At Crewe some 1000 Bentley associates are making these highly luxurious performance cars today and thevisit was a rare opportunity to see the process first hand and obtain an insight into the workings of this prestigious motor manufacturer.
