Steph McGovernThere is now only one month to go until the project management profession’s most glamorous event of the year.

This year’s celebration of success will be even more special following a record-breaking number of entries; making it our most contested APM Project Management Awards ever.

Finalists from a variety of organisations ranging from RNLI to Heathrow Airport Ltd and BBC to Edge Hill University will be competing for the highly-coveted APM Awards trophy on Monday 3rd November – see a full list of finalists.

Known for being a glamorous and prestigious event for the project management calendar, the APM Awards ceremony sponsored by T-Systems will be taking place at the spectacular setting of London Hilton on Park Lane.

You still have time to book your table and join us in celebrating project management excellence, whilst meeting the most senior figures from a breath of industries. This year we are offering a selection of table packages that will help to make the night even more memorable.

The evening proceedings will be led by our host, TV Breakfast business reporter Steph McGovern.

Over the past ten years, Steph has reported on business and finance from around the world, from international finance summits to small business success stories.

Originally from Middlesbrough, Steph’s first TV appearance was on a programme about women in science. She had just won the title of Young Engineer for Britain, after saving Black & Decker over £1million on a design for their Leaf Hog product.

This led to work experience on Tomorrow’s World (whilst at university) and, eventually, to producing the financial news on Radio 4’s Today programme which saw her covering Conrad Black’s trial in Chicago and the biofuels industry from Brazil.

Steph will follow a string of high profile presenters who have hosted the prestigious APM Awards such as Fi Glover, Chris Hollins, Angela Rippon, Bill Turnbull, Adrian Chiles and Andrew Castle.
