The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (EAB), The Lighthouse Club and The Association for Project Management jointly organised a site visit to Central – Wan Chai Bypass Central Interchange on the 25th February 2012. The event was well attended with 28 attendees including students and professionals from different sectors.

The site visit started out with a warm welcome from Leighton’s site representatives, introduction of the project overview and later on, a detail explanation (supported with impressive 3D modelling) on how the diaphragm wall is being constructed on the site. These were followed-up with a site walk around. With excellent co-ordination by Leighton site representatives, the participants were split into smaller groups to ensure that full attention was given to each of our participants. The site visit ended with some light refreshments prepared by Leighton. Overall, the event was well-received and the experience was remarkable.
