Early bird rates for APM Conference: only 7 days to go
Posted by APM on 24th Jan 2014
One week left to the end of the early bird rate, book now to take advantage of a saving of up to 187 and hear from BBCs award-winning programme director Andy Griffee.
So far this month APM have unveiled an exciting and world-class speaker line up and are delighted to announce that Andy Griffee will be joined by communications strategist Alan Barnard. Judging by the responses so far, this is already expected to be our best conference yet.
Andy Griffee was the director for the BBCs W1 programme, winner of the 2013 Programme of the Year at the APM Awards. Andy successfully led the 1.046bn programme to redevelop BBC Broadcasting House in London, its technical fit-out and the migration of 5,500 staff in a way which maximized financial and creative benefits.
BBC headquarters, Broadcasting House, was renovated and extended as part of a major consolidation of the broadcaster's property portfolio in London. This involved the demolition of post-war extensions on the eastern side of the building with a new wing built in its place.
The state-of-the-art building brought together members of staff from other locations in London, including the BBCs national and international journalism, BBC Television services, BBC Network Radio, online teams and professional support services.
Founder of bbm campaigns Alan Barnard will also be speaking at the APM Conference, sponsored by 20|20 Business Insight.
Alan Barnard is a top communication strategist with vast experience in devising and executing successful campaigns.
His company, bbm campaigns, has developed a new model for organising communications into campaigns to deliberately influence changes in behaviour and understanding in target audiences, leading to successful outcomes for business.
Alans ground-breaking book Campaign It!, describes the basics of campaigning and explains how campaigning techniques, attitudes, philosophies and principles can be applied to achieving any outcome.
