On the 15th of March 2011, Ranjit Sidhu made a presentation to the Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire branch on essential NLP for project managers.

Ranjit demonstrated how NLP can help to achieve a shared vision of project goals across teams and stakeholders. Ranjit explained that without a clearly stated goal, that has the agreement and commitment of all stakeholders, that our project is already in jeopardy! Ranjit went on to offer practical steps to success, illustrated by anecdotes and guidelines taken from her 20 years' experience as a project and change manager.

Coming away from this event we had learnt that the way people intepret what we communicate may not be our intended message, and that its up to us to ensure that we get our message across. In addition, we learnt that when people are critical that this shouldnt be seen as failure on our part. This is only feedback information from which we should learn.
