As part of the unique career development partnership between APM and Wellingtone a collection of online resources have been made available to project professionals wishing to develop their career across all sectors.
The project management community can now access tips for writing a winning CV and conducting a successful interview, advice for pursuing a career in project management, survey into salary and employment trends in the profession and a blog addressing the latest career development issues and topics.
In addition to all of this there is a career development column in Project magazine, which is being complemented by supportive features and articles.
The various tools and resources can also help those new to project management by providing vital answers to questions such as; is project management right for me? Are project management skills transferable? What types of roles are there in project management? There is also quality-assured advice that will help people to decide whether to opt for contract or permanent employment.
APM and Wellingtone are currently conducting the association’s first ever salary survey into market and employment trends in the profession. There is still time to take part in this vital piece of research as the closing date is Friday 30th January.
The results of this research will be exclusively showcased at the Project management careers and job fair being held in London on 10th February. This event has proven so popular that it has sold out, but there is the opportunity to join a waiting list.
As part of this dedicated service to the profession last summer saw the launch of the first ever job board on the APM website, which features the latest project management vacancies from Wellingtone.
As well as being committed to the very highest levels of recruitment best practice Wellingtone is an APM Corporate member, accredited training provider and Microsoft Gold Partner specialising in project and portfolio management.
