Introduction to risk management webinar

APM's vision is for a world in which all projects succeed. At its heart, project management is about making the right decisions, at the right times, before commitments are made to clients, stakeholders and other parties while avoiding unrealistic expectations.
Risk is inherent in everything we do and risk management applies to any projects regardless of size and complexity.
Estelle Detrembleur, a committee member of the APM RISK SIG, gave an introduction to risk management using the Channel Tunnel as an example.
The webinar also covered:
- What risk management is
- How to manage risks and opportunities
- What is risk? What is uncertainty?
- How risk management fits into the project management toolkit
- The ‘who’ of risk management
- The benefits of risk management
Russell Tarver, another committee member of the RISK SIG, ended the webinar by tackling some of the attendees questions.
The speaker has kindly agreed to share her presentation slides. The recording of the webinar will be made available shortly.
