APM are delighted to announce that Atos UK has recently gained APM Corporate Accreditation for its UK Programme & Project Management Practice Development Scheme. This is a great achievement as it allows Atos to demonstrate to their customers, suppliers and employees that they are committed to the highest standards of project management professional development.

Chief Executive of APM, Andrew Bragg, presented their certificate to Steve Sutton, Senior Vice President, Systems Integration, on 20th March (pictured right) and said, The Association for Project Management is proud to award corporate accreditation to Atos UK, whose success reflects the fact that effective project management underpins every UK sector. Within APMs professional community, every organisation has an important role to play in raising the bar of project professionalism, and Atos UK typifies good practice in supporting APMs 5 Dimensions of Professionalism.

Atos is an international information technology services company that delivers hi-tech transactional services, consulting and technology services, systems integration and managed services with 74,000 employees in 48 countries.

In 2011, Atos UK bought all project management professionals together into one group  to better deliver the best in project and programme management; today this group numbers around 600.

Keith Cooke (pictured second left), Head of UK & Ireland Programmes and Projects said, This accreditation is an indicator of the success and benefits of this group which is dedicated to achieving the highest professional standards for our clients. It  also reinforces our commitment to the project management profession and sets a clear benchmark against other practices, both in the UK and internationally. This accreditation, a quality kite mark for professional development, will help us stand out as an exemplar in the development of project management professionals. It provides assurances to our customers and suppliers and allows us to attract and retain the best project management talent in the country.

Steve Sutton, Senior Vice President, Systems Integration, agreed, APM Corporate Accreditation supports Atos bringing a high standard of quality and professionalism in our project and programme management
