The Association for Project Management will have the benefit of continuity when it meets for the first time after Monday night’s APM Annual General Meeting.

Current board members Steve Wake and Alan Macklin have been re-elected along with John Gordon, who returns after standing down in 2014.

The association also thanks Sarah Coleman and Monica Sasso for their commitment and contribution as they complete their three year term as trustees.

The result reduces the total number of board members by one, part of a progressive plan to reduce the number of elected board members to nine.

The election turnout was once again a record with 18.2% of the eligible members choosing to take part.

Electoral Reform Services, the independent body that manages the election, commented on the result: “Pleasingly, the turnout figure was 18.2% which maintains the significant increase seen in 2014.

"Turnout in 2014 was 17.8% compared to 13.4% in 2013. The 2015 turnout figure maintains an upper quartile position for turnout in membership body elections.

"The percentage of those voting online has further increased this year to 63.4% which continues the upward trend from 56.6% in 2014.”
