Andrew Wolstenholme, construction director for Terminal 5 presented to the East of England branch in April 2003 on BAA, the Terminal 5 challenge and managing a 3.7 billion programme. The key focus for the Terminal 5 challenge was to choose the right players, align objectives, challenge the norms and eliminate waste. Andrew uses some great pictures in his presentation to show before and after which help to illustrate the size of the project.

This is an excellent presentation about a heavily public project. Using Terminal 5 as a working example enables us to understand the scale of the exercise.
