Utilities Sector Change Practitioner Group - are you able to contribute?

The Enabling Change SIG’s mission is to develop the change capability of organisations, teams and individuals. Now with over 600 members this mission is being achieved through the development of industry-focused Change Practitioner Groups, which are sub-groups of the SIG. We welcome new members to contribute experiences and learning to develop change capability in the Utilities sector.

We are developing “Change Practitioner Groups”; communities of senior change practitioners in public and private sectors, academics and authors who wish to share their knowledge and experience, explore and address challenges and opportunities for enhancing the change capability of their organisations, teams and of individuals.

Currently we have practitioner groups in the following sectors:

  • Transportation
  • Public Services
  • Utilities

The Transportation group has been running successfully for over three years with representatives from many key organisations in the transport sector, getting together to share experiences and develop understanding of successful change delivery. The Public Services group has now been running for over two years and the Utilities group is our newest group, coming up for its first anniversary. We are also looking to establish a new group for Manufacturing.

The groups meet three or four times a year, develop their Terms of Reference and agree on change themes to explore, share and make available through the SIG’s on-line resources.

Our Utilities group needs some additional members so if you are interested in getting involved and making a difference to your organisation please contact enablingchangesig@apm.org.uk
