Value and Benefits: a white paper from the Value Management SIG

The Value Management SIG is pleased to announce the release of its latest white paper: Value and Benefits. It is the first of a series of white papers relating the concept of value and the techniques of value management to other areas of project management. This paper concentrates on the links between value and benefits and proposes that the reason we do projects is to create value for the organisation and/ or its stakeholders. The creation of deliverables and the realisation of benefits are just steps along the way.

This paper represents the thoughts of the Value Management SIG and not necessarily the view of APM. It is intended to stimulate discussion on this subject and feedback on the contents of the paper should be sent to the VM SIG.
