The APM Hong Kong Branch held the 4th workshop intended for young project managers on the 11th May 2011.  The speaker was Justin Wong from EC Harris' Contract Solution team who carried out a workshop on the topic of When things go wrong..  The workshop was intended to give young project managers an overview of different claims and dispute resolutions in Hong Kong.

We started the evening with APM staff member Nathaniel Morosoli and Hong Kong Branch Chairman Mark Lomas giving a brief description of APM membership, qualifications and APM Registered Project Professional status. Justin then carried out his workshop in two parts: Part I was a description of different time-related claims and Part II was about different types of dispute resolution.  While Justin provided quite detailed descriptions on different claims, he accelerated to ensure no delay for the event.  Justin ended the workshop by describing some general processes on arbitration and mediation.

Everyone attended the workshop ended up knowing a lot more about the different claims and claim resolutions and also about APM in Hong Kong.
