Women in Project Management SIG represented at Scottish Conference

The APM Women in Project Management Specific Interest Group (WiPM SIG) will be represented at this year’s APM Scottish Conference on 10th September.
The group’s chair Teri Okoro, who is founder and director of architectural firm TOCA, will be joined by fellow conference speaker Tracy Bergamin, who is head of justice enterprise program office at leading IT and business provider CGI.
Now in its sixth year the APM Scottish Conference, sponsored by 20|20 Business Insight, will focus on bringing together project and business leaders to examine the importance of leadership in ensuring successful outcomes for projects.
As such, in her presentation Teri will cover the competencies and challenges in leadership approach and styles, which she will be drawing from her own experience as a practicing architect and construction project manager. She will also discuss the nature and context of leadership and influencing whilst permitting delegates to discuss and develop an action plan for change.

Adding to an impressive speaker line up will be Tracy Bergamin. She is a professionally trained project manager with over 25 years of experience in both IT and business.
In her presentation, Tracy will lead the delegates on a discussion around supporting and enabling project success for project management offices (PMO) sharing the wisdom learned from her current role managing the amalgamation of various PMOs into one enterprise programme office for CGI Justice.
