Andy MacIntosh CHPP

Portfolio Director, Zero Waste Scotland

Andy MacIntosh is the Portfolio Director for Zero Waste Scotland. The environmental organisation exists to lead Scotland to use products and resources responsibly, focusing on where, as a society, we can have the greatest impact on climate change.

As an experienced senior executive and project management professional, Andy has held senior roles in service and project delivery, quality management and project portfolio management.

He is also a Fellow of the Association for Project Management (APM) and is an active member of their Research Advisory Group (RAG) which provides guidance and promotes the development of the art and science of project management. In 2018, Andy was recognised by a regional branch chairman’s award for his contribution to developing the project management profession in Scotland.

He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Chartered Project Management Professional (ChPP). Andy is passionate about the great outdoors and is a volunteer ranger with the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
