Jo Stanford, MA ChPP FAPM

Jo Stanford is currently Head of Project Profession and Corporate Portfolio Office for Health Education England and is leading a programme developing the Project Profession in the NHS in England. 

Jo is passionate about the value that shared learning and development across industry sectors and geographies can bring to the project profession and champions the promotion of professional body standards and chartership status in building the capacity and capability needed to make the NHS fit for future generations. 

Jo is a Chartered Project Professional and has spent 20 years working in project management in the private, public and health sectors.  

A fellow of the APM Jo has previously been a committee member of an APM regional branch, member of the ‘Projecting the Future’ Steering Group and the APM’s 2020 Golden Thread publication, and has contributed to blogs, articles, case studies, podcasts, and presented at APM conferences and webinars. She also guest lectures on post-graduate programmes on portfolio, programme and project management practice.
