NEC3

NEC3 contracts are a diverse range of definitive end-to-end project management contracts that empower users to deliver projects on time, on budget and to the highest standards.

The first contract was published in 1993 and was pioneered by Dr Martin Barnes CBE, founding member of APM, honorary fellow and past chairman.

NEC contracts combine project management, contracting and procurement in one best practice process, and have been used to successfully deliver some of the highest profile projects in the world, including the London 2012 Olympics and Crossrail.

The latest addition to Microsoft’s Office 365 software suite, it is easily accessible and available as a cloud-based or on premise software solution. It is suitable for small or large organisations that use multiple PPM tools but want to achieve a more cost effective, unified solution.

With more than 1.1 million registered users in more than 177,000 projects, Projectplace by Planview is a popular all-in-one cloud project management tool used by project professionals to execute projects and manage teams.

The tool aims to help project managers collaborate, organise, visualise and keep track of projects. Allowing users to share their work and their documents fosters collaboration among teams, ensuring that the latest documents are used and avoiding version conflicts.

The software is available to use on mobile devices, also, which allows users to work and stay up to date while on-the-go.
